Partridge Harbor is about 11 miles north of my home port of Port Henry. Besides being a lovely little harbor surrounded by cliffs and forrest, it offers complete protection from all wind directions.

I headed out to explore Partridge early in 2010. First thing I saw was a yacht coming out of the Champlain Canal on it's way north for the summer cruising season.
